Plumber/ Gasfitter B-apprentice

**Job Summary** We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. Some one that is already in the trade or someone that is interested in starting in the plumbing trade. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. The Apprentice Plumber will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects. **Duties** - Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. - Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications. - Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. - Plumbing installations and repairs. - Perform basic assembly and maintenance tasks on plumbing equipment. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. - Able to take constructive guidaince, and assigned tasks. **Qualifications** - Strong mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn about plumbing systems. - Familiarity with construction practices and principles is a plus. - Self motivated. - Physically fit. - Basic understanding of HVAC systems is beneficial but not required. - Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work. - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively. - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. - Previous experience or coursework in carpentry or construction is advantageous. - A strong desire to develop skills in plumbing, maintenance, and related fields. - Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment.
