Structural Welder

About the Role

IronWorks Fabrication is looking for a skilled structural welder for our shop and field operations. You'll work on structural steel for commercial buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding using SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes
• Read and interpret structural steel drawings and weld symbols
• Fit and tack structural members per engineered drawings
• Maintain weld quality per AWS D1.1 standards
• Work at height using scaffolding and aerial lifts

Requirements

• AWS D1.1 structural welding certification
• 5+ years of structural welding experience
• Proficient in multiple welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW)
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred
