Residential HVAC/R Field Service Tech

• Pay rate up to $35/hour ($73,000 per year)
Requirements:
• 5+ years HVAC Tech with residential service experience
• Required Universal EPA Certification
• Ability to troubleshoot, test & service and repair HVAC equipment
• Move and lift up to 50 lbs
• Good Driving record
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
• Extensive knowledge in:
• Mitsubishi Heat Pumps
• Hydronic Boiler and Controls
• Rooftop AC units and package AC units
• Some steam training, that is a huge plus
• Proficiency with splits, packaged units, and source heat pumps
• Maintain clean and well stocked company vehicle
• Ability to use Service Titan software
• Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
• Identify and report to the Field Service Manager any/all potential opportunities for additional business.

Technical Skills:
· System Knowledge: A deep understanding of HVAC systems, components (compressors, coils, ductwork), refrigeration cycles, and the principles of heat transfer.
· Electrical & Mechanical Aptitude: Expertise in wiring, electrical diagnostics, working with motors, fans, and other mechanical components.
· Troubleshooting: The ability to identify, diagnose, and fix complex system issues accurately and efficiently.
· Installation: Proficiency in installing new systems, connecting refrigerant lines, and fabricating ductwork.
· Maintenance: Performing preventive maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently and to prolong their lifespan.
· Tool & Equipment Operation: Skill in safely using hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
· Blueprint Reading: The ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand system designs.
· Refrigerant Handling: Knowledge of proper handling, recovery, and environmental regulations for various refrigerants.
· Smart Technology: Ability to program and work with smart thermostats, controls and monitor system performance.
· Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address unique and complex issues that arise in the field.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
