Job Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable foreman to join our team.
Must be comfortable with understanding drawings as well as directing crews to place reinforcing steel.
Duties will include conducting daily toolbox and weekly saftey meetings, as well as any additional saftey paper work.
This is a hands on role that involves working with tools and equipment, reading blueprints and making sure the job gets done safely and efficiently. The right candidate will take pride in their work, follow safety standards and help us deliver quality results on every project.
Duties
• Lifting and carrying various materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Use different tools such as cutoff saws and grinders
• Bending rebar using hickeys
• Work safely around cranes and telehandlers
• Perform rigging tasks when required
• Tie rebar efficiently and accurately
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Handle outdoor work in all weather conditions
Requirements
• Hands on knowledge and at least 5 years experience
• Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete forming/finishing, and related construction work
• Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
• Must obtain WHMIS, CSTS, must be registered with AIT, and hold Journeyman certificate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43.00-$45.00 per hour
