Red Seal Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with various tools and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential settings. The Plumber will work closely with other trades to ensure all projects meet safety standards and quality expectations. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently and safely • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repairs of plumbing systems • Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work schedules and project timelines • Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards • Troubleshoot issues related to systems when necessary as part of maintenance tasks • Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related structures Qualifications • Proven experience in plumbing, construction, or maintenance roles • Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing and hydronic heating systems, schematics, blueprints, and schematics reading • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools. • Strong understanding of plumbing codes • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation or repairs • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites • Prior experience with schematics reading and assembly is a plus This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and safety are valued.
