**Apprentice Carpenter**

We are currently seeking an experienced **Apprentice Carpenter**with a strong work ethic, the desire to be part of a team, and the skills to assist with multi-family builds and development projects in Lethbridge.
As a member of our team, you will provide insight and innovative solutions to ensure the successful construction of our commercial and residential properties.
**Summary**
Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Apprentice Carpenter selected will be responsible for the quality control of all homes constructed in a the community, ensuring the compliance with local building code and company safety policy. The Apprentice Carpenter is also responsible for general site maintenance and clean-up as needed.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in quality control of construction work on the project
- Adherence to building code and corporate safety requirements on all sites
- Perform touch ups and repairs on sub-trade deficiencies
- Carpentry work that falls outside of the scope of work of subcontractors
- Proficient knowledge and use of power tools such as air nailers, skill saw, screw gun
- Experience or willingness to be trained on equipment operation is an asset
- Other tasks as required by the site foreman
**Requirements**:
- 1+ years of carpentry experience
- Experience in construction
- Enrolment in Carpentry apprenticeship or completion of Journeyman Carpentry is an asset but not required
- Good verbal communication skills
- Be organized, interpersonal and strong communicator with the ability to build excellent relationships with customers
- Exceptional analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, results-oriented and able to work in a multi-functional team environment
- Appearance must be neat, clean and professional
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
