HVAC Service & Installation Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a disciplined and technically proficient HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join our residential service team. This role is designed for a professional who prefers a structured, predictable workweek without the requirement for overtime or weekend on-call shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and cleaning of various ventilation and air quality systems. Core Responsibilities • Installation: Professional installation and servicing of HRV/ERV systems, range hoods, bathroom fans, dryer vents, and exterior vent covers. • Maintenance: Comprehensive cleaning of ductwork, dryer vents, air exchangers, bathroom fans, and wall-mounted heat pumps. • Technical Reporting: Identifying and reporting any site-specific challenges or mechanical errors to management promptly. • Logistics: Responsible operation of company vehicles and meticulous upkeep of specialized tools and equipment. Required Qualifications & Skills • Technical Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of HVAC principles and residential construction standards. • Professionalism: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on maintaining a clean and respectful presence in client residences. • Accountability: A proven track record of punctuality and the integrity to report and document errors or equipment issues. • Safety Standards: Commitment to strict adherence to safety protocols and responsible driving habits. • Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A HVAC certificate or a sheet metal installer certificate or apprentice ship are preferred. Schedule & Environment • No Overtime: We prioritize efficiency within standard working hours. • No Weekends: Saturday and Sunday are strictly non-working days. • Flexible Scheduling: Ability to coordinate hours to support a stable work-life balance.
