Posting Number: S06710P Job Description: Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, this includes changing air filters, greasing, replacement of belts, etc. Installs motors, electronics, thermostats, humidistats, fans, other HVAC components, heating water and hydronics, chilled water controls and automated control systems. Assists with troubleshooting and resolving issues with HVAC equipment. Maintain a flexible work schedule including being on-call. Other duties as assigned. Must be willing to work weekends. This position will be located at our Dallas location: 2126 W Mockingbird Ln Dallas, TX 75235. Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of one year of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning experience. Also requires some basic electrical and plumbing and Building Automation Systems experience. EPA Universal Certification required and must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Preferred Education and Experience Other Qualifications To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Repair or replace motors, fans, thermostats, etc. • Preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Respond to hot/cold calls and other related calls. • Other duties as assigned. • South Campus is a general maintenance shop so in addition to HVAC work you will be assisting with painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical and move and events plus and other duties as assigned. • Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License and an acceptable driver rating as established in Policy: UTS157 Section 2.5.4.
