Journeyperson & Apprentice Ironworker

WorleyCord Energy Solutions Ltd., a subsidiary of WorleyCord Lp., is seeking: Journeyperson & Apprentice Ironworkers To work at our Air Product Field Project in the Edmonton area • SALARY: $35.00 - $50.00 • BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Benefits • OVERTIME: After 8 hours a day • START DATE: TBD • HOURS PER DAY: 10 • PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday) • SHIFT: 5&2 WORK SCOPE: Equipment setting, Structural Steel, Grout Work Working Conditions: Full-time, Temporary Employee benefits provided by CLAC Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions Requirements: • Must have a valid Journeyperson Certification from a recognized provincial training authority • MUST be local to EDMONTON, AB (no travel provided local position) • CSTS 2020 Certification • WHMIS2015 • ESC Elevated Work Platform • ESC Fall Protection • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision • Previous industrial construction experience is an asset Responsibilities: • Fabricates structural steel, ornamental work and pre-cast structures on a variety of projects. • Studies blueprints, drawing and specifications to determine the lay out of work. • Position steel units, align holes and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts using simple torque and hand wrenches. • Attach cables from a crane and direct crane operators with hand signals and/ or radio. • Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed • Know, understand, and operate grinders safely in accordance with safe work practices and procedures • Ability to recognize spool hoisting point and utilize proper rigging techniques and signals while working in a fast-paced environment • May perform other duties as assigned • Complete all required safety documentation • Working at heights and outdoors Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour Application question(s): • Are you available to start March Experience: • Ironworking: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: • Ironworking Certificate (required) Location: • Edmonton, AB (required) Work Location: In person
