Technician - Heat Pump and HVAC

As our portfolio continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled Heat Pump & HVAC Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair across residential and commercial properties. Position Overview We are looking for a hands-on technician with strong heat pump experience and a solid background in HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, diagnosing issues efficiently, and supporting a range of mechanical and appliance related repairs. Experience beyond heat pumps, such as general HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical and appliance repairs is considered a strong asset. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair heat pump and HVAC systems, including air conditioning and ventilation equipment • Troubleshoot system issues and implement effective, long-term solutions • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals • Perform routine inspections, cleaning and preventative maintenance • Carry out related mechanical or appliance repairs as needed Qualifications & Skills • Proven experience as a Heat Pump Technician, HVAC Technician, or similar role • Strong working knowledge of heat pump systems • Solid understanding of HVAC mechanics and controls • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Experience with related trades (plumbing, electrical, mechanical repairs, appliance servicing) is an asset • Trade certification, Red Seal, or equivalent experience preferred Why Join United Gulf / GNF • Work with a respected and growing development group • Stable, long-term employment with diverse projects • Opportunity to contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable building systems • Competitive compensation based on experience Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Dental care • Extended health care • Vision care Work Location: In person
