We are seeking a high-level Installation Manager to take full operational ownership of our residential HVAC install division.
What this is not:
This is not a field role.
This is not a working supervisor position.
This is not a “step up” from lead installer.
We are hiring a proven operator with experience scaling install departments, managing financial performance, and building leadership structure. If you have not previously managed and grown an install department, this is not the right fit.
The Mission
Our company is in a growth phase. We are building infrastructure that supports scale, profitability, and long-term expansion.
The Installation Manager will:
Own install P&L performance
Drive gross margin improvement
Increase department capacity
Develop internal leadership bench strength
Implement scalable systems and processes
Protect brand reputation through elite quality control
You will report directly to executive leadership and have real authority.
Authority & Responsibility, This role includes full authority over:
Hiring, termination, and team structure Install compensation models Department KPIs Training programs Vendor relationships Operational process design Quality control standards Equipment staging and logistics
You will not be micromanaged. You will be held accountable to results.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of HVAC installation management experience (not just field experience)
Proven track record managing and scaling a residential install department
Experience overseeing multiple crews and team leads
Demonstrated improvement in gross margin and labor efficiency
Strong understanding of job costing and install P&L performance
Experience building SOPs and performance dashboards
Residential HVAC background required

Pay: $79,200.73 - $143,551.29 per year
